Ten shops in the old market of Gaibandha town were burnt to ashes.
The blaze broke out on Tuesday morning, April 6. Approximately 50 Millions rupees worth of goods have been burnt.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire broke out at around 5 am when a fire broke out in the city's old market. At that time, when the people informed the fire service, four units of the fire service reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
The fire destroyed at least 10 shops. However, the extent of the damage has not yet been accurately determined. It is unknown at this time what caused the fire.
