The expatriate community of Makkah has campaigned for the upcoming Union Parishad elections in Bangladesh.
Discussions were held in a conference room in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and the upcoming Union Parishad election campaign meeting.
Sheikh Rony, a prominent businessman of Makkah, was present as the chief guest at a discussion meeting chaired by expatriate journalist SH, Hemayet and conducted by Mahadi Hasan in Makkah on 2 April.
Ahsan Habib, former president of Mecca Bangabandhu Parishad, Joynal Abedin, son of a heroic freedom fighter, businessman Ilias Ahmed and Liton Talukder were present as chief negotiators.
Popular YouTubers Bin Mishal and Kafiluddin were present as keynote speakers at the discussion meeting and election campaign.
Rana Haldar, the candidate for the post of chairman of Shiruail Union Parishad, and Abaid Hawladar, an expatriate from America, and many others spoke on the occasion through video conference.
From the meeting held later, the Mecca expatriates of Shibchar Police Station called upon Mr. Rana Hawladar to win the upcoming Union Parishad elections by voting in the motorcycle race.
