Indian Assistant High Commissioner at Parbatipur Barkona in Dinajpur

Indian Assistant High Commissioner Shri Sanjib Kumar Bhati inaugurated the Jaher Than at the Parbatipur Barkona in Dinajpur.
The Baha’i culture of this historical tribe has been going on for ages. But religious ceremonies have to be conducted in line with modern times.
So the newcomers have to balance without forgetting the old culture. This was stated by Assistant Sanjeev Kumar Bhati, Assistant High Commissioner of India.
Manoranjan Sheel Gopal (MP), MP from Dinajpur-1 constituency, was the chief guest at the event organized by the Baha Parab Celebration Committee at Parbatipur Barkona Kalam Saran Alma Saran ground on Friday, April 2 at 3 pm. Parbatipur Upazila Chairman Hafizul Islam Pramanik was present as a special guest, Dinajpur Government College Professor. Masudul Haque.
Also present on the occasion were Amjad Hossain, Joint General Secretary of Upazila Awami League, Sara Marandi, Director of Social Development, Village Development Center, Khokon Sweeten Murmus, Representative of Kapping Foundation and other dignitaries from different parts of the area.
