An Islamic conference was held at the mosque premises last night organized by Bajitpur Jummabari Jame Mosque of Birtara Union of Dhanbari Upazila.Birtara UP Chairman Shafiqul Islam Shafi addressed the function as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Sohraf Hossain, Principal of Digpait Shamsul Haque Degree College. Also speaking were former UP member Rafiqul Islam, president of the mosque, former headmaster of Kadamtali Multipurpose High School Peer Ullah, journalist Hafizur Rahman, Imam Tofazzal Hossain and other guests. Speakers at the conference discussed various aspects of Islam.
